Strike-zone Explorer
Every filtered pitch at the plate. Use this to spot command clusters, chase locations, and where specific pitch types are being left in dangerous areas. Hover any dot for count, batter, velocity, spin, and result.
Batter Pitch Timeline
A plate-appearance timeline for the filtered set. Each row shows the exact pitch sequence to a hitter, pitch-type counts, first-pitch strike status, whiff/swing, and the final result.
Count-Leverage Flow
Shows what he throws from each count state and what happens next. Compare ahead, behind, two-strike, and three-ball counts to see where pitch choice creates whiffs, balls, weak contact, or damage.
Sequence / Tunneling Matrix
Rows are the previous pitch and columns are the next pitch in the same plate appearance. Use it to find pairings that tunnel well or disrupt timing: high CSW/whiff, useful velocity gap, tight plate-location separation, and low damage on the second pitch.
Mistake / Damage Risk Map
A pitch-type risk map for Statcast zones 1-9. Green cells are safer or miss bats; orange/red cells show where balls in play turn into extra-base damage or home runs.
Pitch Trajectories
Release-to-plate flight paths from the pitcher’s point of view. Useful for seeing how pitch shapes overlap, separate, or tunnel before they reach the plate.
Season Trends
Year-by-year run prevention and command shape. ERA/WHIP show results, while K/9 and BB/9 show whether strikeouts or walks are driving the trend.
Pitch Mix
How often each pitch type is used in the current filter. Use this to compare approach by season, level, batter side, count state, or individual game.
Velocity
Velocity distribution by pitch type. The box shows the normal band, while the whiskers show the full range, helping identify velo changes or separation between pitch shapes.
Outcome by pitch type
How each pitch type ends: whiff, called strike, foul, ball, HBP, or ball in play. Useful for separating chase/command pitches from contact-risk pitches.
Command — areas for improvement
Tracks first-pitch strike rate, 0-2 putaway rate, walk rate, and whiff rate. This highlights whether problems start with count leverage, finishing hitters, or free passes.
Strike-zone heat map per pitch type
Location density by pitch type from the catcher’s point of view. This shows where each pitch is actually living, independent of whether the outcome was good or bad.
Pitch Strategy
A filter-aware game-planning view. It compares best and rough outings, ranks pitch options by handedness, identifies target velocity bands, and flags pitch types that are producing damage.
